The Role
Mac’s II Agencies is always on the look out for a Distributor & Contractor sales representative to support our Lighting or Electrical division. A successful candidate possesses an exceptional ability to problem solve and collaborate with an array of decision makers across different customer segments. This role is best suited for a driven individual who wants to build and strengthen our business and community ties over the long-term.

Responsibilities
- Generating demand for our products and solutions in different ways, including client meetings, lunch and learns, contractor & end-user calls, tradeshows, and virtual meetings.
- Work creatively with our vendor partners and other in-house technical experts to provide product solutions for our customers.
- Commit to continual learning and education around new products and solutions for our customers.
- Develop long-term relationships with our manufacturers and customers.
- Dream, design, and implement exciting new sales promotions and product marketing campaigns
- Manage and grow a strong existing customer base
- Utilize and contribute to our CRM in order to enhance our customer’s experience and our understanding of their business needs.
Skills & Requirements
- High energy and a determined problem solver
- Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Electrical, lighting, or trades experience is an asset
- Valid Class 5 driver’s license
- Experience with a CRM platform (Salesforce, HubSpot, etc) is an asset
- Experience with Microsoft 365 software is an asset

A successful candidate has experience closing high-value projects, can work within set deadlines and has a keen eye for detail.

The Role
Mac’s II Agencies is always on the look out for a Project Administrator to support our lighting division. This role is an office-based role in Coquitlam or Victoria, BC. A successful candidate is highly organized, has excellent communication skills, is comfortable working in a fast-paced, detail-oriented environment and be open to continuous learning and growth in an ever-changing industry.
Responsibilities
- Create and submit drawings for approval and record-only purposes
- Review returned drawings for changes and advise customers and manufacturers
- Enter and release manufacturer orders in an accurate and timely manner
- Provide pricing for “adders” and “deletions” on project quantities
- Coordinate with accounting to ensuring billings are issued on time
- Liaison between manufacturers and distributors to expedite orders
- File all correspondence on projects and keep files organized and current
Skills & Requirements

- Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Demonstrates ability to execute multiple projects simultaneously while enduring possible interruptions
- Electrical, lighting, or trades experience is an asset
- Experience with Microsoft 365 software
