BCAA, renowned for ensuring road safety and enhancing the lives of British Columbians, has recently upgraded their head office in Burnaby, BC.

In their commitment to improving lives, including those of their office staff, BCAA collaborated with SSDG Interiors Inc. to design a state-of-the-art Collaboration Space. This space is meticulously crafted to foster circulation, collaboration, and connection while embracing the local context. The design draws inspiration from various elements: the neighbourhood’s spirit, the community’s sense of belonging, the essence of British Columbia, and BCAA’s distinctive personality.

Mac’s II Agencies proudly provided the lighting solutions for the collaboration space, which spans three levels. The lighting design incorporates products from Cooper Lighting Solutions, chosen for their superior quality, energy efficiency, and aesthetic appeal:

• NeoRay – Define Series: Integrated into the suspended ceiling in linear segments, the Define Series offers minimalist simplicity with clean, uniform lines of illumination, ideal for any architectural environment.
• HALO LED Downlights: The space features HALO LED downlights, specifically the LT56 LED All-Purpose Baffle Trim Downlight. This energy-saving retrofit solution is suitable for both new construction and remodelling projects. Its wide distribution is perfect for general and task lighting.
